Kindness Initiative
This initiative was a response to some unkind behaviors being observed in the 5th grade. It kicked off with an assembly that asked students to record videos of random acts of kindness, role playing being kind or showing what kindness means to them.
Following the assembly 5th grade classes were given follow up lessons around kindness and the science behind how being kind can give them a positive mental and physical health benefit.

The teaching team with the most video submissions was awarded a pizza party.
Kindness Challenge Results
